The Magic Tuts Sound was founded in 2003 in Lausanne (Switzerland) and is composed by 8 Selectors and MC. We all started by collecting vinyls, developing our knowledge of reggae, dancehall music and entertainment.



In 2004, the Magic Tuts built its own recording studio, where were recorded talented artists (Buju Banton, Morgan Heritage, Capleton, Joseph Hill (RIP), Mykal Rose, Max Romeo, The Abyssinians, to name few). The result is an exclusive collection of dubplates that only Magic Tuts can play.



Over the years, we got the opportunity to share the stage with artists like Buju Banton, Culture, Anthony Johnson, Dennis Al Capone and soundsystems like David Rodigan, Killamanjaro, Stone Love, Mighty Crown  and many more.



As a dubplate sound, the Magic Tuts is taking part in soundclashes regularly, recently we were crowned Rain of dub plates clash champion in Molfetta, Italy (January 2016). We are clashing on a regular basis in Europe and UK as well: Foreign Invasion vs King Tubbys in 2011, Brixton, Bring Your Tunes And Defend Your Sound in 2012 London, Eurocup in 2013 in Berlin and several wars in 2013 too. We won out first sound clash at the “1-2-3 Badda Dan Soundclash” 2012 (aka "The Swiss Cup”) in Biel, were we took the trophy against four others swiss sounds. We also had the opportunity to play dances internationnaly; in France, England, Russia, Argentina, Finland or India. Magic tuts is looking forward for more big dates to come soon.



As an accomplished crew, we can play all styles from the early 60’s to the latest tunes released in Jamaica. Rocksteady, reggae, dancehall, Hip-Hop & homemade RMX, the Magic Tuts can bring any type of music to stick to the crowd.
